Ellen’s eclectic table is located in a historic neighborhood of Chicago and has all the elements for great entertaining. For the past 15 years she and her husband have had countless evenings of sharing their home and table with family and friends.
Ellen’s dining room table was purchased at an antique store before she actually had a home. The table has seen many places since that time.
When she and her husband first walked into their large formal dining room they looked at each other and said, “ We could do Passover here.” This past year they hosted their first Passover and it was a great success. She recently held a monumental birthday bash for her husband throughout their entire home. A mix of people gathered around the kitchen table, the living room table, and the dining room table, to enjoy each other’s presence and the comfortable environment around them.
Their urban home is filled with lasting memories that have been cultivated around Ellen’s many tables. Whether her home ignites new traditions or new rituals, she never ceases to enjoy the sharing that happens around the table.
